Facebook now enables you to capture 360 photos in-app :
Facebook has launched a new feature called “360 Photo”. This lets you take a 360 degree photos right within the Facebook app itself. This feature is rolling out across both IOS and Android. It’s also now possible to use 360-degree images (from any source) as Cover Photos. This is the first ever update to format support Facebook has made for Cover Photos since its introduction. You can post these photos on your timeline,share them in albums alongside other normal image.
Capturing photos using Facebook camera is designed to be as easy as possible. You just need to rotate your phone and capture it in panorama style.
Here’s how to take 360 images in Facebook according to Facebook itself:
- Open your facebook app and click on 360 photo option on the top of your news feed.
- Press the blue button and follow the path from start to finish to take a complete panorama.
- Select your preferred “starting view” within the photo and share.
