  • Delhi High Court’s notice to central government on BlueWhale Challenge:government ban

Delhi high court issued a notice to the central government and Delhi police. In the notice, it seeks their response on a plea seeking a ban on online game blue whale challenge.In addition, Delhi High court also seeks a response from Facebook India, Google India, and Yahoo India. Advocate Gurmeet Singh filed the PIL citing deaths of children in India and abroad. Hence he sought immediate directions to restrain the majors from sharing any material relating to the Blue Whale challenge.

  • Tamil Nadu has to follow NEET: SC

In a setback to Tamil Nadu government which sought exemption from NEET this year. SC says Medical colleges in Tamil Nadu will have to use NEET as the only basis of admission. And asked Tamil Nadu government to start counseling immediately which is yet to start. Furthermore, the due date given by SC is 4th September. Tamil Nadu government is opposing NEET. Because they think it gives an unfair advantage to almost all schools following CBSE board. And makes it tough for students of the rural area.

  • Another terrorist killed in J&K’s Kupwara district:

Forces kill another terrorist in an ongoing search operation in J&K. While the operation is still in progress. Security forces launched a search operation at Hongnikote in Haphruda forest area of Handwara. Following an information about the presence of militants there, an army official said.

He said during searches, the terrorists opened fire on security forces who retaliated, therefore triggering a gun battle. Consequently, a terrorist got killed.
