India Deplores Nuclear test conducted by North Korea

India today said it “deplored” the latest nuclear test conducted by North Korea that has rung alarm bells across the world. India called it a matter of deep concern.” DPRK [Democratic People’s Republic of Korea] has once again acted in violation of its international commitments.”

In a statement, India called North Korea to refrain from such actions which adversely impact peace and stability in the region and beyond. The statement further read that the move goes against the objective of the de-nuclearization of the Korean peninsula. Which has been endorsed by the country itself.

North Korea’s Sixth Nuclear Test

Earlier today, North Korea announced that it has successfully conducted another test of a Hydrogen bomb with “unprecedentedly big power”. Which is meant to be loaded into an intercontinental  Ballistic missile.

While giving information about the North Korean nuclear test, its sixth and biggest ever. The news reader of the North Korean Central Television said North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un ordered the test. And termed it a “perfect success”. Consequently, a quake felt in northern China, with emergency sirens blaring in Yanji, near the North Korean border, according to local media.

“India also remains concerned about the proliferation of nuclear and missile technologies which has adversely impacted India’s national security.”

Key ally China

North Koreas nuclear test also receives condemnation from its key ally China. China slammed North Korea for ignoring international condemnation of its atomic weapons program.

Chinese foreign ministry also said in a statement on Sunday. “North Korea has ignored the international community’s widespread opposition, again carrying out a nuclear test. China’s government expresses resolute opposition and strong condemnation toward this”.

Finally, after the nuclear test, President Trump said”appeasement with North Korea” will not work”. North Korea has conducted a major Nuclear Test”. President Trump said, “Their words and actions continue to be very hostile and dangerous to the United States.”
