LG V30 Begins Receiving Android 8.0 “Oreo” Update
Nearly a month after going into the beta program through ‘LG OS Preview’, LG today announced the rollout of Android 8.0 Oreo for its LG V30. The update is rolling out over the air (OTA) and will be initially available in South Korean units.
The update is also available through the LG Bridge software, so you can also install it manually if you want. And users can download LG Bridge app from LG’s mobile download center.
Further, the update of LG V30 includes improved speed, battery, and “basic” performance improvements. In addition, it also includes features like Picture-in-Picture mode, notification dots, enhanced quick settings, and smart auto fill.
We still don’t have any information on when the LG V30 in other countries will see the update to Oreo. But we expect that to happen sooner than later.
