HMD Global has finally unveiled Nokia 7 smartphone in China. It will be will be going on sale starting 24th October. The new Nokia 7 comes with 7000 series aluminum build and also sports Gorilla Glass at the back. Further, it is available in two variants: The price of 4GB RAM is CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 25,000) and 6GB RAM is CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs. 26,500).

The new Nokia 7 will run on Android Nougat out of the box with the assurance of upgradeable to Android Oreo soon. It comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p screen, 3,000 mAh battery, and a 16-MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture. It also has a 5-MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.The Nokia 7 comes with 4K video with Nokia OZO audio technology that supports 360-degree recording. In addition, the smartphone features the new octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 clocked at 1.8GHz.
The smartphone comes with “Bothie” camera mode, which made its debut on the flagship Nokia 8. The company is heavily promoting the feature as “Dual-Sight” technology. It essentially lets users take pictures and videos using front and back cameras simultaneously, hence “Bothie”. Both variants will come with 64 GB of internal storage. But, with an option for expansion via a microSD slot.
There’s no word on the availability of the Nokia 7 outside China as of now. Given the fact that it has been first launched in China, just like the Nokia 6 was last year. There are chances that this phone may come to India late.
